A great local spot for bbq! Loved the ambiance as it felt warm and welcoming. Staff is friendly and service is quick, which is great for little ones. We loved the family table meal, perfect for a family. Ribs, whole chicken, brisket, with 3 sides and 6 breads. Mondays and Wednesdays there is a free kids meal too!I would recommend!

Food was great. I had a combination platter. I went with turkey and brisket. Absolutely delicious and tender. Wife had turkey and pork. Service was great and greeted by everyone as we entered.

Found this place on a whim, hands down, best BBQ this side Texas. Had brisket nachos, sorry, no pic, it was eaten first and quick! We had the best server ( Krysten ), who accommodated our request to sit outside, and she was very gracious. Beautiful day, great food. Will be back if im in the area and definitely recommend!!

It may not look like much on the outside, but inside it looks like a new restaurant. Service was outstanding, with my waitress suggesting the Stuffed Bsked Potato, which was huge. In fact, the service and people there were showing extreme Southern hospitalityBut you really wanna know about the food?Sweet barbecue sauce – my favorite of the sauces.Savory barbecue sauce - it was good, but I didn’t think it had the complexity of flavors sweet sauce had, but still a solid option.Grilling sauce - this was brought out as a sample and is more like what they used to baste meat in the smoker. It was all right, but I think I already mentioned my favorite was the sweet sauce.Stuffed baked potato - it was huge, more than plenty to fill you up for lunch. It’s top with your meat of choice, and you can get it loaded or plane. I gotta tell you I was disappointed in the baked potato itself, seemed like it was overcooked and had a little gummy texture to it, that I was not thrilled with. But the dish itself is nice.Brisket - I requested the lean brisket to top my baked potato, and it was absolutely fabulous. I probably could’ve used a little more, but really tasty.I don’t have a lot of business in this area, so I doubt I’ll be back in the near future. But if I was, I would load up on the brisket and maybe try some peach cobbler, and with Service as friendly and kind as they showed, that in itself as a reason to come back

Man, I walked the Strawberry Festival grounds all day, and was wondering what I wanted for dinner. So, I went to Johnson's BBQ. Thank you, Johnson's, for stuffing me with your absolutely delicious combination platter. I had the chopped pork/smoked sausage combination with Mac & Cheese and fries. Everything was FANTASTIC. That dinner roll y'all serve with platters is so damn good, and warm, and soft and buttery.......

I am a Mississippi Girl, so I love me some CATFISH, and when I tell you that this is place, I only get my catfish from and stay most 30 minutes away. I used to live out in Plant City that's how I know about them. The customer service is good. The food is always hot and fresh, just how I like it. The price is good, but I wish that they offer a reward point system. Keep up the good work, guys.

Great service! Greeted upon entering, seated right away, and had our drunk order taken immediately! Waitress was not as outwardly friendly as the host, but she gave us a moment to look at the menu as there are lots of choices which made it hard to choose. My girlfriend got the fried smoked chicken dinner and was amazed at the 4 pc. portion! I love brisket, so when I saw the brisket stuffed sweet potato, I had to have it. My only disappointment was that I would have preferred more grilled onions and cheese, though It was absolutely delicious, and again, the portion was large! We will definitely return!

Best Bbq around! The rolls are awesome! The wings have the best flavor and cooked to perfection. Brisket is yummy! Macaroni and cheese is delicious! Don’t care for the baked beans there but that’s okay, there are plenty of other options!
